Ha! Clever, right?!

Personality: Cause and effect. That is something that greatly intrigues Desdemona. What effect will this action have? What consequence will this cause to take place. The thing that interests her greatest is human personality. How she can poke and prod at the human psyche and see how it will react in one person as opposed to another gives her interest without end. This has led to her seeing humans in something of a...different light than some of her fellow dragons. This is most notable in the fact that she actively chooses to take a human form most of the time, rather than her own natural draconic form (where she smugly notes to her fellow dragons is completely incorporeal in the human world anyway, thus making it just this side of useless outside of a Darkness Game).

While her loyalty is, and ultimately always will be to her god, the Five God Dragon, Desdemona considers herself more than somebody who can just be defined by that (like certain starry dusty dragons). She's a scientist of sorts. She takes out people's minds, experiments with them for a little bit, them plops them back in and sends them on her way. Her poking does have a tendency to tear out a person's innermost secrets and insecurities and slap them on a table in front of them, but hey, if people can't confront those things, they'll never grow as a person anyway. Quite a few times, when various people have tried to kill her dead, she's whipped up a garden (complete with chairs, tea and cookies somehow), and instead just had a discussion with the enemy where they were a gibbering mess afterwards. It's unclear whether she enjoys this or not. But she's obviously not above doing it, and much prefers it to getting her hands dirty.

History: It's unclear whether the Black Rose Dragon and her brothers have some history independent of their god, the Five God Dragon (if they do, it probably involves a big Crimson dragon of some sort), or whether he just barfed one out of each mouth, stuck them in front of an army, and called it a day. Either way, though, Black Rose is one of the Five Great Dragons that serves the Five God Dragon and commands his armies. However, with the recent revival and startlingly quick downfall of her God, Black Rose got, well...confused. So, she told her armies to take a break, sleep in, get their nails done, make themselves look pretty, and took a jaunt to the human world. There, she tried to find out just what the hell happened (getting distracted a couple times along the way), and eventually found Duel Academy, the place where her God (and two of her brothers) currently resides. At current, she's not sure what she'll do when she gets there. Her first instinct, of course, is to snap the neck of the human who bested her God, revive him, then toast him with some fine wine as he turns Duel Academy into one big weenie roast. But, as said, that's only instinct.

Extra Abilities: A really really good connection with plants (as in, she tells them to grow, and they fucking grow), and some basic mind-reading skills. She rarely makes use of this, however, as she prefers to find things out for herself. She likens it to chess, usually. And her mind reading is taking out a hammer and smashing the Queen, Knights, Bishops and Rooks. Fun, but only if you don't do it too often.
